Editorial
In this, our final issue of 2018, Vidimus wishes all its readers a very Happy Christmas.
Much of this issue flags exciting events for the year to come, including the publication of a significant volume on the stained glass of C. E. Kempe, and a number of lectures scheduled for the first few months of the year. We do, however, also congratulate the CVMA on its recent Christmas present of being awarded charitable status, and note the celebrations at the Stained Glass Museum associated with the visit of its patron HRH The Prince of Wales. But before the festivities of feasting and present opening begin, and we begin to look ahead to 2019 too wholeheartedly, we revive a Vidimus tradition of replacing our usual Feature with an invitation to our readers to settle down, perhaps by candlelight, to a (stained glass-related) Christmas ghost story….
