Editorial
Welcome to Issue 128 of Vidimus where we look back, in our Feature, to a tour that took place over the summer of the spectacular late medieval stained glass of St Mary’s, Shrewsbury, led by CVMA author, Dr Penny Hebgin-Barnes, and also look forward to a rich agenda this autumn of stained glass-related lectures and events, including a significant new exhibition of American stained glass at the Stained Glass Museum. In Books we bring a review of 100 Churches, 100 Years, which flags beautifully the intimate relationship between stained glass and architecture; and flag a recent published article by a Vidimus reader. We are also very sad to relate the death in recent months of architect and stained glass author, Peter Martin, but happy to remember his contributions in both fields.
