English Stained Glass, by Painton Cowan. A new book by on English stained glass from 1100 to 1530 will be published next month by Thames & Hudson. Written by Painton Cowan, author of A Guide to Stained Glass in Britain (1985) and The Rose Window (2005), it promises to show over 100 windows and panels from across the entire country, including examples from Canterbury, Gloucester, Wells and York Minster.
