Vidimus, the only online magazine devoted the history, art, craft and conservation of stained glass, launched in November 2006 under the editorship of Professor Tim Ayers (read here). Intended to showcase medieval stained glass in general, and the resources of the Corpus Vitrearum in particular, the scope and reach of Vidimus has grown in response to the interest and industry of its readers. One hundred and fifty issues and nineteen years down the line, Vidimus has undergone a makeover, designed to make our digital platform more robust and accessible (no one in 2006 was reading Vidimus on their telephone!), but also to reflect its expanded and more inclusive coverage of the medium we all love.
The current editorial team would like to thank those who have made Vidimus the valued resource it has become. While our contributors, reviewers and readers are too numerous to name individually, we would like to thank, in particular, past editors, Tim Ayers, Anna Eavis, Heather Gilderdale, Katie Harrison, Anya Heilpern, Roger Rosewall and Joseph Spooner. We also thank former digital team members Laura Tempest and Melissa Polkey, and to Melissa a special thanks for a new logo!
