Editorial
Dear Readers,
This month we are thrilled to announce a major revamp of the CVMA website and its amazing free picture archive – check it out under News.
The site includes an explaination of who we are and what we do, a list of our publications, a picture glossary and important guidelines for the conservation of window glass.
It is a unique resource. Please take a look.
We also say goodbye to Jasmine Allen of York University as our regular Panel of the Month contributor and welcome Emma Jane Wells to this popular slot. We are extremely grateful to Jasmine for her contributions. She leaves with our thanks and best wishes.
Emma is a PhD student at Durham University and Secretary of the Durham Medieval Archaeologists group. We are delighted to have her aboard.
Similar sentiments are extended to David Cook and to Margaret Martlew who contribute this month’s Feature articles about Netherlandish roundels in Devon and the ongoing glazing of Antonio Gaudi’s spectacular Sagrada Família in Barcelona respectively. Margaret’s exclusive interview with the distinguished Catalan stained glass designer and restorer, Joan Vila-Grau, is full of fascinating insights.
Elsewhere we have news about exhibitions and events, an unusual Name that Roundel puzzle and several Book Reviews to tempt your pockets!
