A warm welcome to our May issue!

This month we have moved our Diary from the News section to a new permanent page with its own button on the toolbar at the top of the screen. We hope that this will make it easier to find.

In our Books section this month we’re pleased to include an interview with one of the unsung heroes of stained glass studies: Morris Venables, the specialist book-seller who has enabled many of us to get hold of those rare and essential books on stained glass.

Our Panel of the Month article has been written by Laura Tempest, one of the first graduates of the new MA in Stained Glass Conservation and Heritage Management at the University of York. Laura is also working behind the scenes to upload all the back issues of Vidimus. She has completed nineteen so far – only thirty-one to go!

We’re also delighted to publish – in our Feature – some marvellous new photographs of the stunning glass at All Souls’ College, Oxford.

We hope you enjoy the issue.
