Welcome to the first issue of Vidimus for 2013.

In this month’s issue Geoffrey Lane reports on developments at Ickworth, where some roundels that have been neglected for a number of years are now receiving the attention they deserve. There is also news of the prize awarded to the recent Dutch Corpus Vitrearum volume, and of the recreation of a window for Sir John Soane’s Museum in London. In this month’s feature, Gill Draper, Events and Development Officer for the British Association for Local History Association, explores the business of sourcing glass in south-eastern England. Our Books page has more details of Zsuzsanna van Ruyven-Zeman’s ‘Stained Glass in the Netherlands before 1795’.
