The ICON Stained Glass Group will be holding its conference and AGM at the University of Chester, in the Wheeler Building, on 26th October 2024.
This year’s theme ‘Beyond the Whall’ will investigate the work of Christopher Whall’s pupils and later 20th-Century stained glass artists, exploring the innovations, pitfalls and solutions to problematic conservation issues relating to some of Britain’s finest stained glass.
In the afternoon, following the talks and the AGM, there will be a walking tour of Chester. The ticket cost will include tea/coffee and refreshments, as well as a sit down two-course lunch.
The event will end with a stained glass quiz on Saturday evening to encourage social engagement and networking.
Additionally, the group is offering 5 free tickets available for early years practitioners and students.
